Top 5 Shopping Locations In Pigeon Forge Area September 2015

The Pigeon Forge/Sevierville areas in Tennessee offer a great selection of shopping and dining choices. We have found 5 locations that happen to be our favorite. While visiting this popular destination in September during our stay at Margaritaville Island Hotel, we had a chance to eat and shop at some of these places below that we enjoy so very much!

See our top 5 locations for dining and shopping that the whole family will appreciate, and they are in no particular order.

The Island in Pigeon Forge:

Margaritaville Island Hotel is located at The Island in Pigeon Forge, and my family and I had a blast visiting and exploring! We so enjoyed this newer complex, and you can read more about it here. We found that it was so convenient to walk down from our room to grab coffee, food and shop at the neat candy shop and more. Visit The Island in Pigeon Forge’s website by clicking here.

Old Mill Square:

I love the country/crafty feel in this area. The food at the Old Mill Restaurant offers a good selection of Southern dishes while sitting at tables that overlook the river that flows to the waterwheel next door, powering the gigantic stones that have ground their cornmeal and grits since 1830. Wow!!! So neat! I love shopping here too. Learn more about this fun place by visiting here.

Tanger Outlet Center at Five Oaks:

Bath & Body Works, Starbucks and the Disney Store are a few locations we love to visit in this plaza. Plus, try the Chophouse, they have some really amazing steaks. This area is usually very busy. We have had fun at the putt putt course too that features farm animals.

Walden’s Landing:

Five Guys is one of our absolute favorite burger restaurants, and we have had the chance to eat at this location multiple times. Always good! There are some really cute gift shops in this complex as well. In the past, we have enjoyed the Smoky Mountain Brewery. They are famous for their craft beer and hand tossed pizza. If you want to see a movie, you can check out the theater here, and a fun putt-put golf course as well. Read more about Walden’s Landing here.

The Apple Barn:

Park and walk around this area for some great apple gifts, crafts, honey and food. We love the donuts at The Apple Barn Cider Mill & General Store, and had a chance to grab some, along with apple cider, on our last visit. The fried apple pies are amazing too! Have you tried them? So many yummy treats to choose from! There is a candy store on site, wine shop and 2 restaurants with great old fashioned cooked meal. For some really nice atmosphere and good food, try the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant. You won’t be disappointed. Read more about what The Apple Barn offers here.

Hope this information will help you when you have a chance to visit! 🙂 There is nothing better to me than visiting the Smoky Mountains in the fall! Safe travels.
