My Top 5 Favorite Christmas Movies December 2015

Christmas truly is the most wonderful time of the year! I love all of the holiday decorations, movies, music and more. Having a chance to enjoy all of these things with my family, is the best part of it for me. Now that December is here, it is a good time to start watching all of the great movies that get me into the Christmas mood. It won’t be long until December 25th arrives!!! This whole year has flown by for me!

I have made my list of every show/movie that I want to get watched prior to the big night, and there are a lot of things that we enjoy watching every single year, but I have narrowed down my top 5 picks that are on my must-watch agenda, as I wanted to share them with you! These are not in any particular order. Let me know if you enjoy these as well.

The Santa Clause:

Tim Allen was so great in this series. We always watch The Santa Clause, The Santa Clause 2 and The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, but of all three, we have to say that the first is the best! Which one is your favorite?

Elf:

Ok – so love this movie. Will Ferrell plays Buddy perfectly! His kiddish spirit is very uplifting as he helps save Christmas and reunites with his family. Just gotta love it! Memorable moments are when Buddy eats syrup on his spaghetti and also guzzles a whole bottle of pop and burps! Hilarious!

A Charlie Brown Christmas:

A true CLASSIC and a must-see!!!! WE LOVE Charlie Brown, Snoopy and all of the Peanuts gang. This year mark’s the special’s 50th anniversary of its broadcast airing. Wow!! So glad that it is still so popular to this day. I love when the characters dance during their practicing of the Christmas play and when Linus explains to all what Christmas really is all about. Just BEAUTIFUL!!!

On a side note, I have a whole collection of Peanuts ornaments that I have purchased from Hallmark through the years, and I can’t wait every year to unpack them and hang them up. 🙂 So fun!

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation:

All I have to hear is the Christmas Vacation song lyrics – it’s that time, Christmastime is here – and I can’t help but already start to giggle!!!! Always feel so bad for Clark (Chevy Chase), as nothing seems to go as planned! And, when cousin Eddie (Randy Quaid) shows up, things get even more funny!!! All turns out well for Clark and his family in the end. Yay!

This movie isn’t for the little ones in your family, but it really is one of my favorites for sure!!! Is it a favorite of yours?

Fred Claus:

Vince Vaughn and Paul Giamatti always makes us laugh and tear up in this very entertaining Christmas movie. It is absolutely one that we always watch.

I really hope that you have a peaceful and joyous Christmas season with friends and family! Merry Christmas from our house to yours!
