3 Great Things About SeaWorld Orlando’s Seven Seas Food Festival

My family and I really enjoyed spending time at SeaWorld Orlando’s Seven Seas Food Festival earlier this month, and I wanted to share three great things about their all-new festival. The Seven Seas Food Festival began on February 11, 2017, and will run until May 13th. It takes place on Saturdays beginning at 11 a.m. until close. Take a peek at the three reasons I have listed below on why attending this festival would make everyone in your family happy.

Dining at SeaWorld Orlando Seven Seas Food Festival

1. Food

We wandered around looking at all of the good food at the individual booths. Some of the interesting food choices were at the North Atlantic Market with their Banana & Caramel Cheesecake topped with Whipped Cream & Caramelized Bananas, the Cinnamon Slow Roasted Pork Belly with Sweet Plantain Mash at the Caribbean Market sounded really yummy and so did the Korean Market’s Bingsu Salted Vanilla Ice Cream topped with Caramel Popcorn. More of the markets included Brazilian Market, Pacific Coast Market, Polynesian Island Market, Gulf Coast Market, etc. Plus guests have more selections, other than the market stops, that featured BBQ and comfort cuisine like Slow Smoked Ribs that was caramelized in a SeaWorld original BBQ sauce, some Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese and a Grilled Kielbasa Sausage Sandwich. Awesome!!

We enjoyed taking a peek at all of the yummy selections, and the only reason that we didn’t try any of the food at the markets was because we had previously purchased SeaWorld Orlando’s 2017 Pass Member Dining Plan. Annual Pass Members can upgrade their Annual Pass to include the 2017 Dining Plan. Each time you visit the park, guests can enjoy one meal redeemable at any cafeteria-style restaurant for any entrée, including its accompanying side, any one side item from a selection of side salads, side dishes or desserts and a regular sized non-alcoholic beverage. And, I have to say that I highly recommend purchasing this plan, especially if you are planning on spending a lot of time during the year at this theme park. We have had a fun time just walking around, viewing the animals and eating lunch on several occasions this year already. It has been well worth the cost of $79 each. As of March 4th, we have paid for our passes. Now, for our remaining visits, our meals will be free! It definitely was a good purchase for us!

Note: Do you see how I snapped this photo above of the pretty bird flying over? So neat! It kinda startled me. 🙂

2. Music

OK, I happen to be a big Styx fan, and so when they performed at SeaWorld Orlando on March 4th, I was there! My family and I sat on the lawn next to Bayside Stadium for the performance. With my husband’s autonomic neuropathy, sitting in the stadium would have been too loud for him. I didn’t mind at all – number one…I didn’t want him getting a bad headache (I dislike it when he is not feeling well!) and number two…we could sprawl out and enjoy it! I absolutely had a BLAST!!! It was pretty amazing listening to them. They put on a great show, and I knew every song except one! 🙂 Of course, they saved “Renegade” for their final song! Love it! Love that my Pittsburgh Steelers play this song during home games to get them motivated!

Dolphins at SeaWorld Orlando

3. Fun

There are so many fun things to see and do at SeaWorld Orlando during the festival and every day! Their roller coaster rides look phenomenal, and we love checking out their live shows and being entertained by the amazing animals. I love watching the dolphins. They are so graceful.

For more information and details on SeaWorld Orlando’s Seven Seas Festival, including the times for the performances, check out their website. The best thing about the festival is that there is no additional fee for the muscial performances! We had a super great time and hope to get back again very soon. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy your day! 🙂
