Had some fun Christmasing (is that even a word?) at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World Resort. It is so festive down there. The Christmas decorations are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! It was a little cooler – around 65 degrees – on Wednesday (November 15, 2017) evening too. It was definitely a great night to grab a hot chocolate and wander around soaking up all the sights, sounds and smells of Christmas! There was so much to see, that we didn’t get a chance to see it all, and we will have to head back soon to see more!
We had a yummy meal at Earl of Sandwich. I had to get the Holiday Turkey Sandwich, especially with Thanksgiving coming up! So good! After that, Clayton III took some video footage of the Christmas Tree Trail and some of the shops and restaurants along our walk. I was really impressed how much nicer the Christmas Tree Trail was this year compared to last year. I especially loved that there was Disney “snow” falling as you make your way through the trail. If you wanted a snack of popcorn, nuts, hot chocolate and more, you could pick that up in the Christmas Tree Trail. It was great that they could use the pavilions from the old bus stop. And, this year, kids can visit Santa back in the trail too. I liked the fact that he was back there. It always seemed to get too congested when he was located near The World of Disney Store. The trees were even prettier than last year too. Each tree has whimsical decorations for Disney movies like The Little Mermaid, Frozen, Cinderella and more. So many neat ornaments on each one and so much detail! Disney always does a great job with the little details! Do you agree?! 🙂
Will you and your family have a chance to check out Disney Springs during this holiday season? If so, I hope you have a wonderful time!!!
